]]>From the very beginning, God created humanity for relationship with Himself. We were never meant to merely follow rules or participate in rituals. We were made to walk with God, talk with God, and live in fellowship with Him—just like Adam and Eve did in the garden before sin entered the world.
“And I will be their God, and they shall be my people.” – Jeremiah 31:33
Sin, however, separated us from God. But the good news is that through Jesus Christ, the relationship that was broken can now be restored.
We don’t automatically have a right relationship with God because of our good behavior, our church attendance, or our family background. The Bible says we are born spiritually separated from God (Romans 3:23), but through the cross of Christ, God made a way to bring us back.
“God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them.” – 2 Corinthians 5:19
Jesus made it possible for us to be forgiven, cleansed, and adopted into God’s family.
Here are the biblical steps to enter into a personal relationship with God:
Trust that Jesus died for your sins and rose again to give you eternal life. Salvation comes not by works, but by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8–9).
“If you confess with your mouth ‘Jesus is Lord’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” – Romans 10:9
To repent means to turn away from sin and turn toward God. It’s not about perfection—it’s about direction. You say, “God, I need You. I surrender.”
“Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out.” – Acts 3:19
This is not just intellectual belief—it’s personal trust. You welcome Christ into your life and give Him authority to lead you.
“Yet to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God.” – John 1:12
A relationship with God doesn’t stop at salvation—it begins there. Just like any meaningful relationship, it grows through consistent connection.
“Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.” – James 4:8
This relationship is not just for eternity—it transforms your life here and now. It brings peace, purpose, joy, and the deep assurance that you are never alone.
