Jesus Is Not Just a Teacher or Prophet—He Is the Son of God and the Savior of the World
Jesus Christ is the central figure of the entire Bible and the foundation of the Christian faith. He is not merely a moral teacher, a healer, or a religious leader—He is God in the flesh, the eternal Son who came to rescue a fallen world.
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God… and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us.” – John 1:1,14
Jesus was fully God and fully man. He entered into human history through a virgin birth, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, taught with divine authority, and then willingly went to the cross—not because of His sin, but because of ours.

Why Did Jesus Come?
Jesus came for one main reason: to save us from sin and reconcile us to God.
“For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” – Luke 19:10
The Bible is clear: every human being is born into sin and separated from God (Romans 3:23). No amount of good works or religious rituals can bridge that gap. We need a perfect Savior to stand in our place. That’s exactly who Jesus is.
“God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.” – 2 Corinthians 5:21
Why Did Jesus Die?
Jesus’ death was not an accident or a tragedy—it was part of God’s eternal plan to save the world.
- To Pay the Penalty for Sin
God is holy and just. Sin must be punished. Instead of punishing us, God placed our sin on Jesus at the cross. “The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” – Romans 6:23 - To Demonstrate God’s Love
The cross reveals the depth of God’s love. “But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” – Romans 5:8 - To Open the Way for Eternal Life
Jesus didn’t stay dead. He rose from the grave on the third day, defeating sin, death, and hell. His resurrection is proof that His sacrifice was accepted and that eternal life is available to all who believe. “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me will live, even though he dies.” – John 11:25
Who Is Jesus to You?
Jesus is not just a historical figure—He is the risen Lord. The question He asked His disciples then still echoes today:
“But who do you say that I am?” – Matthew 16:15
Every person must answer that. He is either Lord of all or not Lord at all. He is either the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), or He is nothing to you.
But if you believe in Him, trust Him, and follow Him—you will experience forgiveness, peace, purpose, and eternal life.
