Verse of the Day:
“Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” – Galatians 6:9 (NIV)
Devotion:
Some days are just heavy. You’re doing the right things—serving others, showing up, staying faithful—but you’re not seeing the results you hoped for. The progress feels slow. The payoff feels distant. And deep down, you start to wonder, “Is it even worth it?”
That’s exactly why Galatians 6:9 exists—to remind you that what you’re doing matters. Even when you don’t see it yet, even when it doesn’t feel like it—God is working, and your faithfulness is never wasted.
The enemy would love nothing more than to wear you out. To convince you that you’re not making a difference. But God’s Word encourages you to keep going. To not grow weary. To trust that in due season—the right season—you will reap a harvest.
Think of the farmer who sows seed. He doesn’t expect fruit the next day. He waters, waits, and watches. And eventually, the harvest comes. Your faith, your kindness, your obedience—they’re seeds. Keep planting. Keep trusting. Your harvest is coming.
You don’t need more strength—you need fresh perspective. God is your source, and He never runs dry. So today, lift your head. Breathe deep. And keep going—not because it’s easy, but because He’s with you.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for reminding me that what I do for You is never in vain. On the days I feel weary and discouraged, renew my strength. Remind me that You see my heart, my work, and every step I take in obedience. Help me to keep going even when I’m tired, to stay faithful even when the results are slow, and to trust that You are working all things together for good. I believe my harvest is coming—not on my timeline, but in Your perfect time. Thank You for being my strength when I feel weak. In Jesus’ name, amen.
